EB1 at Amazon
What is the official policy for green card filing at Amazon? Recruiter told me that standard policy is to wait 6 months after joining to initiate the green card process. EB category is determined by the lawyers and if I fit into EB1 bucket, they will file one. Does anyone know if they can start the process as soon as I join? And how much willing are they to file EB1 for PhDs with decent publication rceord. The position is L6

You can start on day1. Officially there is no restriction. It’s just a small manager approval

I heard amazon doesn’t do EB1B. They’ll only do EB1A. Please check with the recruiter if that matters to you.
I have been told Day 1 onwards. Very clearly by the recruiter.
You are already working for Amazon..so did you start the process on day 1?
I didn't but I was told I could. Just didn't have time to do paperwork for eb1
