To anyone who went on the EB1 path , can you please evalaute my profile MS in EE with 5 years experience in wireless networking 3 papers with 52 citations 9 patents ( 2 published and rest pending) - 1 citation Reviewer in 12 IEEE conference (8 of them in India and rest of the conf are in Singapore and malaysia) TC 200K (north carolina)
Citations are a bit low but if you good references, it’s worth a shot
What’s considered as good references?
I gave reference to a friend with MS 200 citations, no patents. I was a junior engineer(3 yoe) at the time at a no name consulting firm, he got approved. I guess really depends on your lawyer, pay the extra $$ there.
Most law firms require you to have at least 100-150 citations, but doesn’t hurt to talk to your company’s immigration lawyers
Got it.Thanks . I reached out to company's lawyers to take a look at my profile . As I have EB2 already, company is bit slow even to review profiles and update us
Citations seems low . You should probably wait until it reached 100+ citations
If you can prove that your papers are like ground breaking, you don't have to worry about citations. Btw what's the wait time these days for eb1?
I wouldn't call my papers ground breaking . I saw it as 2016 (I didnt check the latest bulliten though)
Worth a shot. Citations a bit low. Higher citations automatically solves few questions like impact, original contribution, international recognition, authority in the field - as opposed to getting reference letters.
Easy H1B. Dm for attorney referrals
Oops EB1*
DM'ed you
Worth the low TC!
Yeah, I would trade my TC for OP's profile if it meant I would get a GC.
I never came for GC otherwise it would be better to be in a low TC research profile I plan to get $$ and GTFO
