I saw one instagram video today where an Sr SWE got EB 1 green card based on these criteria: 1) Senior role 2) High compensation 3) Judging hackathon Not sure how true it is. Is there anyone aware of this way to get green card? I also saw a linkedin post of an SWE who was not PHD but got green card because she participated in some research at Amazon and got everyone involved to vouch for her research. #workvisa #immigration #greencard #eb1
The rules for EB1 are pretty clear. But hey as long as you have a willing lawyer to push your case and an immigration officer who adjudicates your case is having a good day, then anything is possible.
Google aao decisions and read about full merit determination. Reels are just reels. 10 times a day I come across cancer treatment videos and earn a million dollars in 30 days on insta.
You have snake oil salesmen everywhere.
Lol no way
Judging Hackathon 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
That person got eb1 coz he added his tc when posting on blind.
Can you share a link to the Instagram video?
I think asylum is easier. Ask all the Chinese restaurants waitresses, they all have green cards due to asylum status.
What do they claim Asylum from?
CCP
Yeah this is a viable route, there’s probably more info in that application to show that they are a badass, but it’s directionally right. DM me if you wanna take a look at your credentials and see how they stack up for an application. I’ve helped tons of people with EB-1s, including some Microsoft engineers when MS wouldn’t do the application
I mean if third grade actors qualify for EB1 then software engineers who fit that criteria should as well.
USCIS doesn’t work with individual opinions of fairness
Well 3rd grade actors are exactly that. Hard to change them
