American police seem to work only when Israel is challenged
Hi Everyone, I hold a master's degree from the US and have published three papers (2 first author) with over 150 citations. With 5+ years of industry experience, I'm currently working at a startup in a specialized field. I'm exploring the EB1 and EB2 visas. I can request my employer for a strong recommendation. Can anyone provide insights into my chances with these options? Moreover, if anyone has undergone a similar journey, I'd greatly appreciate hearing about your experience. Lastly, I'm on the lookout for a reputable law firm that can help navigate through this process. Any recommendations would be immensely helpful. Thank you. TC: 210K #workvisa #eb1 #eb2
She got EB1 with a masters degree. It's rare though. Maybe get in touch with her https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7097956138364661760?updateEntityUrn=urn%3Ali%3Afs_updateV2%3A%28urn%3Ali%3Aactivity%3A7097956138364661760%2CFEED_DETAIL%2CEMPTY%2CDEFAULT%2Cfalse%29
Thank you
@Meta: how? I thought it's not possible without PhD. Can I DM?
For EB1, besides citations, you would need 6 reference letters from a mix of academia and industry, and preferably a mix of domestic and international writers. Ideally you would also need to serve PC members for conferences and had track record for paper reviews.
I did this and you can get EB1. Chances depend on who approves but with a strong packet chances are high.
Join Witch company. They'll fake it to make it for you.
Appreciate your suggestion. I would prefer doing it the right way. :)
OP, a GC is a GC regardless of right way or wrong way
Eb1/eb2- 01jan11/01jan12.. doesnt matter anymore
Until October 2023
It’s This means they ran out of quota for this year. You’ll get it next year instead
Wouldn't matter much if you are an Indian. Lawyers are predicting that 2023 PD for Indians will never become current. In the future, maybe no lawyer will take up a fresh EB1 case for us. They are predicting retrogression to 2021 for next year.
I can buy that. The desperation levels amongst the EB2/EB3 Indian diaspora are so high that everyone is looking to get into the EB1a/b/c queue "by hook or by crook" 😉 Am truly surprised by the spike in posts like these "Rate my chances for EB1*". Even RoW seems to be getting desperate with the EB2-NIW related posts though their future is definitely brighter than those for Indians
Yup tough luck for genuine Indian EB1 applicants. We just got late and no hope now.
If you are ROW, then go for EB2-NIW which sounds like a slam dunk. For EB1B u might get RFE for more evidence to prove you are at the top of your field. The number of publications and journals published in also matters. A good attorney can evaluate your case and give you likelihood of RFE or approval.
It seems ya’ll gonna scam this category as well, look at this dude, as if a PM job at G wasn’t good enough for this CFA with all education from India, he also conned the category
There's a limited number of GCs every year, so the US govt doesn't really care, it's a zero sum game these folks are snatching it from someone else who could get it
how did they hustle? what paperwork they have gotten?
Yang and associates lawfirm. Too notch service. Very satisfied with their service. They are expensive though
Can I DM you? Have some questions
Sure
I got EB2 NIW with 150+ citations. No PhD. Just get good recommendation letters from the guys who cited you and your manager.
How’s eb2 niw different from regular eb2 if they are on same priority date?
EB-2 requires PERM thus employer sponsorship. Eb2-NIW doesn’t require PERM and petitioner can self-petition
You can file EB2-NIW for i140. It’s taking between 3-5months.
Curious how is this different from regular EB2
Got it. The backlog time would still remain the same, correct ? Or are there any benefits
