Greetings community, hope you're well. I'm looking for a referral for EPAM Systems. Recruiter reached out for Automation Java Engineer but I'm looking for Go roles. Any advice or feedback would be appreciated.

Offer is in Málaga Spain. And truthfully speaking I'm staying away from America with it's current take on tech hiring. Massive layoffs and crunch vibes thanks to Elon.
Special approval of C-level is required for every hire in US now. So only suer-unique people can be hired.

As I know, situation is the same for all locations - if there’s a position on a client’s project, it should be staffed with current employees. Only if there’s a long term position for a unique stack, new engineer could be hired. And after approval of top management. Tough time - budget optimization.

Stay away from EPAM especially in North America
This human is wise
They are giving me hard time.
Making sure that u will get assigned on a project, otherwise it’s really risky to be on bench! They do massive layoffs!
