EY Senior consultant

Interested in applying for a senior consultant role at EY. Job description specifies “bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of experience”, do you reckon I should apply if I have a master’s and 2 years of experience? #ey

Yes, won't hurt. Why restrict yourself? Not like someone will slap your hand for applying to any job.

Yes, they value masters but they might not let you become a senior from the get go, but will provide a path for you to get there. Source: I interviewed with them and saw that in a YouTube video.

Yes go for it

Yes should be fine. If they think you dont have the relevant experience they will let you know

Absolutely

Go for it. I don't have any degree and it hasn't been a challenge after the first few years of working. So being short on 1 year of experience isn't going to be the end of the world. As long as they can plop you in front of a customer and not get pushback for senior billable rates, you will be ok.

Always apply. Let the hiring manager decide if you’re qualified.

Yes. There are numerous seniors that get hired directly out of MBA programs as long as they have some relevant internship experience

Why do you want to go into consulting? You will work on many projects in many areas but know nothing completely and regrets putting in hours.
