Got a refferal at google, can only apply to 3 roles. I just want what I can get. Whats the easiest role to land? Me: DS, 3 YOE, TC :64500, BA in economics & ds. Experience: ML, insights platforms, crm, data analysis, reporting design and automation. Stack: R, Python, SQL, Powerbi, Pyspark, Tableau. Im thinking dont even aim for data scientist, go for lowest level data analyst possible, in the least competitive geography possible (ex dont apply in california). Also, if anyone else has reffs for me I’ll gladly take them. I’m aiming for tech, aiming low within healthy firms. #tech #google #dataanalyst #data #amazon #datascience #analytics #refer #doordash #instacart
Found it. Janitor. Done.
Looks for trust and safety data analyst roles. Pretty decent org with great opportunities to make an impact and easy interview compared to product analyst roles.
what kind of interview questions do they ask? Do they go super technical?
Not at all. Medium SQL questions and lot of product abuse scenarios to debug
I did soft wear at google, it was pretty easy to get into imo. The interview process consisted of me trying on different articles of clothing and telling them how soft it is. Now whenever I see someone walking around with a google logo, I take great pride in my work having meaning.
So you wan reff me?
🤣
