Let’s say you only have the following 2 options for becoming an fb E6: - getting promoted internally within fb from E5 to E6 - being a senior SWE at Netflix/google with 8+ YOE and interviewing at fb to be up-leveled to E6 Which path is easier? Please comment why you think so. TC 195k / 1.0 YOE
I talked to a facebook recruiter regarding interviewing for E5 and she told me that the years of experience doesn't matter much and it's the scope of the projects lead by you. I have 3 years of experience. Will try for E5 after 1 year
