I have an interview coming up with the hiring manager for an Embedded software engineer role at Ford e and would like to get some insight on what kind of questions to expect as I have never interviewed for an Auto company before. I also have a few additional questions, 1. How many total interview rounds are conducted at ford? 2. What does the onsite interview look like for an Embedded role? Need to secure this role as I was laid off. Thanks in advance. Tc-0 #embedded #software #auto
Thank you
Also for automotive positions, read about CAN bus and RTOS concepts
Thank you everyone for the suggestions, anyone here worked or currently working at Ford can tell me what they expect at Ford for this role?
@op, how did you apply?

No idea for embedded SE roles but usually the swe interview process depends on the team. Questions are usually related to the tech stack for the position itself. Besides that, easy leetcode should suffice.

If it's an embedded role, practice some binary questions on leetcode. Embedded roles do ask basic bit twiddling or bit masking questions. Rarely in the form of a leetcode questions but the idea is similar. Make sure you know what a bit mask is and how to do it.
Amazon, does your company currently have an embedded specific interview process? Last time I spoke to one of the recruiters, they couldn't understand the difference between general CS & embedded roles.
