I applied for a regular engineering position at Bain awhile back, but through the process, they actually wanted to move me towards a manager position. It is a really small and new team, so even as the manager, I'd still be doing a lot of development. The shared the approximate salary at the beginning for the original engineering position and it was lower than what I was hoping for. But since they have directed me towards a manager position, they haven't given me an updated salary range. I have a current offer that I was going to decline because I wanted to get the manager position at Bain, but I would be really disappointed if they lowballed me and I passed up on a decent offer elsewhere. What do managers usually make at Bain? I am sure it is hard to tell based off the information I have given so far, but is there any very loose bands/salary ranges I could expect? Any information you could provide would be incredibly helpful. #bain #tech TC:$149k/year YOE: 2
