Engineering Program Manager Apple

Any tips on how to prepare for an engineering program manager role at Apple? I am looking for the technical interview questions mostly. TC: 110k #tech #apple #programmanager

I'm an EPM at Apple, there is no coding questions. They mostly focus on your resume and ask you to talk about technical projects. I was at intel 11 years and 15 YEO. I used this study guide to organize my thoughts: https://interviewjoy.com/services/interview-process-details/apple-job-interview-apple/

Here are also good questions to ask: What does the first 6 months of the job look like? How can I grow into this role? What does success look like in this position? What are some of the key challenges and current gaps the role could fulfil? This is a great question. After they tell you gaps, tell them how your experience and skills help fill those gaps. It's like asking their problem and then providing the solution. What are the team dynamics? What is the extent of the influence do I have on various teams?

Do you know how many rounds are there? The recruiter won't provide much information.

Usually like 4 rounds 1. Technical recruiter 2. Hiring manager 3. Panel (6-10) people in one day 4. Senior management like VP or senior director.

Hello, I am in process of transitioning from IP design role to TPM role within intel. I have 6 yoe. Will it makes sense to get experience in TPM role and then apply at apple EPM or I should apply now ?

Yes it's possible, I was a technical marketing engineer at Intel when I joined Apple as EPM. I never actually held the title of technical program manager. However, I had extensive experience leading global technical projects. What you need to ask yourself, can you interview well and do you have strong people skills. They don't ask technical questions, it's all behavior.

Thank you! Can you just give an overview of questions asked? Or type of questions?
