Hi guys, I am interviewing for an Engineering Project Manager role at Apple and I have a couple of questions. 1. Can someone share some tips on what to expect during the interviews. 2. The opportunity was through an employee referral and I didn’t apply on their website or even have a phone screen with the recruiter. I just exchanged availability information with the recruiter, and I didn’t get a chance to talk about salary/comp. Has this happened to anyone or is this a red flag? Any suggestions on what I can ask for will be greatly appreciated? 3. Does Apple offer remote work options for this role, as I am not willing to move to California from Texas? TC - 160k Yoe - 7yrs
Apple does not offer remote work options for this role btw
@FOdc04 - thanks….any ideas for the tc?
Not possible for remote
Thanks….any ideas for the tc?
Interview will be between 6 to 9 rounds. Multiple Cross functional stakeholder interviews along with hiring manager and director. Depending on the level, you may get asked to meet a Sr director for an informal chat. One of the interview typically is a case study presentation.
@ironman3 - thanks….any suggestions on the tc negotiation?
Depends on several factors. Apple doesn't pay as generous as Meta or Google so be mindful of that. My offer was 200 base 250 stocks 50 sign on
Thanks!
Since this was through a referral, they filled out salary expectations for you in the tool. So you’ll be offered that, not a red flag.
Very helpful. Thanks!
Did you end up getting the position? Can you share more info about the process, the interviews, salary? Thanks
No idea on Apple but if you're interviewing anywhere else Atlassian has lots of remote engineering manager positions open. DM me for a referral
