Is it worth it? Always been passionate about graphic design, simplicity and Steve jobs Currently building systems that chug data
Why? Just because you like something doesn’t mean you will enjoy doing it for a living. You’ll be putting up with unreasonable clients. If you think some clients in swe can be unreasonable. Get ready for the bullshit subjective world of art and design where minds can change on the minute and you’re the jackass who signed up to put up with every iteration, every nitpick, every insecurities your client will throw your way. Take it from someone who moved on from making art professionally to doing code. I’m glad to be done with the bullshit. At least I know my code either works or not. The subjective world of art is brutal and stupid because even if you think you have done a great job, some asshole can always say “different color”, and you will watch what used to look good turn into utter shit and there is nothing you can do about it. You will not be the next Steve Jobs. You’re not simplifying shit, you’re working at the whims and fancy of some fucker who can’t do art and doesn’t give two shit about it except the ability to boss you around.
Bruh I think OP is just being sarcastic. But appreciate your dedication for the comment which I didn't read
Just do it
You know, designers are not like programmers. We welcome people who wants to secretly do what they're passionate about, regardless of what you have to sacrifice ($) to do it. Because at the end of the day, you have to be happy with yourself and nobody can take that from you.
I love how any solution providers in the industry will never win a proposal or do anything without the graphic designers. You will learn how to shut up - likely when someone smarter you tells you to shut up about what you want to say - when you understand how terrible you are at communicating what you know to other smart people without a graphic designers. Once you get to a point where you're working on a $20 billion proposal, you will learn how to shut up.
Did you choose that background because of the pride month? Then you got skills
