Currently work in Sales, as a senior sales and tech trainer. Considering a move to Asia and most likely Japan as my wife is from there and has a great job opportunity. Looking for info, advice, insights, salaries and hook-ups. Job would need to be English speaking so perhaps a target market of Asia, potentially as a remote, or with regular travel. I've actually got a chance to transfer my job there currently but also want to know what else is available. Also looking to secure the bag. My current salary €60,000+ is solid for my country but no scope to earn higher without promotion. 7+ Years experience in Training and Sales.
Working in sales in Japan is basically only available to native Japanese people, do you speak Japanese to a high enough level that on the phone nobody could tell? If not, then you won't be doing sales here I'm afraid. I know of 1 foreigner doing it who busted his ass to study for years and got really lucky. You could go into recruitment though, low barrier for entry, low pay but good upside if you're good
