Are new folks in industry doomed?
Got laid off from my junior role after 3 months. Also a 2021 Covid grad. I’m honestly thinking of this. What other careers are worth it anymore though. Unless you become a doctor, it seems like every single option for us is over saturated and don’t pay enough to live where you work. I honestly didn’t expect to become bitter this soon. I was very excited to begin a career despite the hardships Covid gave my graduating class. Can’t say that anymore, I don’t even want a career anymore since this is the first taste of the next 30-40 years.
Who the hell is voting for - this is the perfect time? Care to elaborate?
Perfect time?
Lots of defense contractors are hiring, if you’re a US citizen it might be easier since the pool of applicants is smaller
Better than being unemployed as a new grad.

Is "From the River to the Sea" So Wrong?
Entry level gets double fucked. Shitty market and if they do get in they get crappy pay which follows them for years. Not doomed though, just fucked.
Alternative career ideas? Just brainstorming
I suspect it will look better in 2 months. Otherwise what congress did with restarting student loan repayments is cruel.
