Any Indians Think Kashmir Should be Independent?
I am a game dev working in aerospace/serious games, and want to pivot to AAA in a few years. I have my eye on Epic Games as it seems like a standout studio in the industry with great pay (I am not looking for 300k+ big tech salaries) and insane benefits. I’ve not interviewed there before and would like to take time to prepare in the coming years for what they generally make you go through in interviews. Would be looking for either a technical design or standard programmer/gameplay dev role. TC 98k 3 YoE
Fantastic portfolio and good soft skills.
Anything in particular they look for in the portfolio? I have the game Ive worked on professionally for 3 years on there as well as my college game projects, most of which were made in UE4.
When I was in AAA, my portfolio just consisted of my shipped titles. No personal project bs (who had the time for that?)
we're in hiring freeze
Good to know. Timeline is ~3-5 years that I’m looking to start applying.
