Anyone moved from biotech/pharma to tech or vice versa? Do you like it? Pharma almost always works 9-5 and I don't need to give aggressive interviews every time I decide to change an employer. My past experience is valued so I get a higher role. But then this industry is not a pay master although pays good long term incentive (LTI) so TC is all cash. Tech downlevels me but gives good stock options. Most tech companies are better brand names as well (ex-Google is more powerful than ex-Roche). Anyone made the move and can help me with insights?
