Do people underestimate E6 role at meta?
People been jumping to Amazon lately, huh? Lol. If this is bay area, ask for 400+
No one is giving 400 in this atmosphere. It's already a great offer
Amazon does
Grt offer for 2 yoe
Seriously, that’s insane for 2 yoe, ML or PhD?
Neither
Average offer for SDE2 but insane for 2 yoe
Crazy good for 2YOE. I thought its not the candidates market anymore, but this proves that wrong. Go for 🍌
Good for 2 yrs… go with Amazon.. why second thoughts
Congrats! Did you negotiate? Or I’d this the initial offer?
I just mentioned another offer i have and the recruiter made it work. Awesome recruiter.
I assume the other offer is around 400k??
That's a good base. I got an L6 offer with a base not much higher, but higher signon and a lot more RSUs.
Why isn’t guaranteed cash part of the base??
Dang that's a crazy base. Mind saying which product? I'm interested in what orgs end up paying so much in AWS.
There's no special orgs or teams which pay higher. Mostly just L8s or hrbps fighting for exceptions
That wouldn't make any sense. Surely teams that have higher requirements would have to pay more for their talent.
