Been wanting to switch job for a while now,recently got two offers. One is with a seed stage start-up in boston, very small engineering team(less than 30), autonomous driving company, Senior algorithm developer. 145k base, less than 0.15 percent equity. One is a fairly large company in Detroit, few thousand people, trading publicly. Base Salary is 120k with 6% annual bonus. Also in autonomous driving field. Engineering lead position. Current compensation is $150k in Bay Area with 9k stocks vested over 4 years YOE : 5 years Personally I like the job at Boston startup job better, but I feel they are lowballing me in compensation. Any thoughts? EDIT: I can negotiate on the offers. Which one am I in a good position to negotiate? I plan to stay at the new company for at least 2 years

I agree with you but this is what I have for now. I’m thinking if I change my role and move to the startup, I would get better options one year down the line
