As per title.
Sometimes 2 hards as well. I got at Facebook and LinkedIn.
Not per round though, right?
Pretty sure he/she meant per round. Although that’s insane.
My tech screen at Salesforce was LC hard.
I got a Hard during my Airbnb interview.
Surprised! Just one hard?
Yeah, the other on-site coding round was a Medium that required a lot of coding. Phone screen was Dijkstra’s
Got a question at snapchat phone screen, didn't find the answer in 30 minutes, sent to leetcode, got 1000 points, the question is LC hard now.
Nice... Do you remember which one?
Did you get an onsite though? Or are they sticklers for correctly running code for all test cases?
Twice. At Microsoft and Google.
Yes just had Facebook onsite. First one was hard and then 2 medium in next round
You don’t “give” interviewers. Unless maybe you’re an interviewer.
Celebrities do...
I had a bitter Apple interviewer pull out a custom DP question on the spot because I knew 3 of his questions (LFU, LRU, and some other nameless one). He also told all of the other interviewers that I came prepared and to come with harder questions.
You didn’t pretend it was the first time you saw the question before? That seems to be way too many questions to have fully solved too quickly in one session.
I don't like to pretend. If an interviewer is going to do that to me then I don't want to work at the company anyways.
So weird I just got mediums ish at google
For L3?
Yeh. Is it easier for L3?
Skyline problem at microsoft, preceeded by a hard geometry question (original)
All the time. The rule of the game is, expect to solve 1 LC hard in a round, or 2 LC mediums.
Sometimes one easy and one hard
