What’s the best path for career advancement when I leave Apple as a senior operation engineer. Currently ICT4 - 275K TC. Looking to get the biggest pay bump of my career after leaving Apple. Want recommendations for best companies and roles to apply for. #tesla #rivian #google #apple

Stick to Apple, Pixel will give you higher pay for much low grade work, but you never know when those pixels will get a massive cut

It’s ex Apple, so expect similar culture. I know of a few TPMs who came to Pixel and then moved to other parts of the company for WLB. Pixel will most likely give you L5 so you can hope for ~350k TC

Indeed. Good things come to those who wait.
Read between the lines. If they’re L4 and have been at Tesla and Apple, they have an insufferable personality or produce awful work, or both. It means they got pushed out or fired at Tesla and are in the same boat at Apple. There no option to wait at Apple and in fact no option but to continue the grift and do a year at another unlucky company.
