Examples of purchases with large ROI

Reverse examples are also welcome. To start chocolate and vegetables. If you buy high end chocolate like lindt or godiva it is almost a completelt different product than hersheys. Buying organic produce also removes the weird taste and they taste like water or a little sweet. Reverse example is sportswear. A nike hoody will tear as easily as a generic one. Probably made in the same factory. As I get older I care less about brand names

Quality mattress. Quality linens. Quality pillows.

Really? Because i bought a comforter and mattress from amazon that outshone one from nectar that cost twice more

Mattress itself is down to preference, I stayed in a luxury hotel for a month and loved the mattress and bedding so much I just bought it all from the manufacturer. I probably spent 6-7k all together but I sleep like a baby.

A wise man once told me, never skimp in three things: 1. Your footwear - you can hurt your mobility by wearing the wrong shoes 2. Where you sleep - a good sleep is essential for wellness 3. Your wife - no need to explain

Lol organic products don't equate to sweet taste. Organic produce actually has more variations in taste than the GMO variety.

Taste isnt as strong as non organic in my experience

Good: Alcohol (collectible items I mean that appreciate with time) Good vacuum cleaner High quality hiking boots Bad: Lux bags (they don't add value fast) Electric panels (slow roi)

Glasses: nice pair of freeform lenses are a game changer Chair: my old chair made me bleed out of my ass multiple times a month, haven't had the problem since getting a Herman Miller Rain-X: driving in Seattle without it is a fool's errand Reverse example, fancy car: you won't get anywhere appreciably faster, and you spend more in gas and maintenance fees. EVs are also inconvenient because you need to charge them.

…what the hell are you doing with your chairs?
