Exiting Amazon
I'm planning to exit Amazon and there is a chance I might be walked out. Can anyone comment on what happens after that? How do you access your payslips, W2 etc? What happens to your health insurance if there is a gap in your employment after exiting Amazon and Before joining new company? Anything else I should keep in mind?
HR will send you an email with everything you need to do. For pay slips and w2, just make sure to change the email address to access my pay website to something other than your amazon email. For the gap in health insurance, you will get a mail to join cobra insurance.

If you leave after the month starts, typically you are covered for the entire month by your existing plan even if you leave. But do confirm with ERC

I am trying to understand the meaning of ‘walked out’. Are you let go or fired the moment you let them know you are switching jobs and especially if you reveal that you are going to a competitor?
Literally that. Walked out. Essentially a paid vacation but all access to company resources witheld.
Just walk out. Who wants to waste another week or two interacting with HR. Do you not know how cobra works? All the shit you will get in the mail in a few weeks. Let HR be your servant not the other way around. Congratulations on the career move.

Forgot to change ADP email to personal email and don't remember the password. Can't login adp anymore. Any one been in this situation once you left Amazon? Any ideas?
