For you who successfully exited IB, do you think you made the right choice?
What role did you exit to and what do you like about your new job?

Work in Tech as a PM.
Slightly lower pay but the WLB is much better
I also don't have to worry about getting my shirts dry cleaned!

Hey! How do you transition from IB to PM? Besides the prep, what skills do companies look for from IB? I work at consulting rn and looking to do the same from financial services (even though IB and consulting different). Thank you :)

It should be much easier for you. Tech companies love people with consulting background. I got a ux certificate from google and studied agile and scrum. With the interview i just got really lucky with a close friend referral for a small startup. If you come from a consulting background, i would say you are set with soft skills and strategic thinking. Just a little more technical skills which is free to learn
