Expected base salary in April SDE 1 India

I received a needs improvement rating Working on LC and have a few interviews lined up But just curious what will be the base pay I'm hearing even if your rating is bad base pay is increasing to keep it market competitive Is it true? PS Only thing I need improvement majorly is my delivery, my peer review was quite good but it got messed up due to slow delivery I was struggling with my mental health exactly during the forte review phase kinda unlucky, but yeah One month back we were talking promo and next all screwed up!
