Expected salary for sr software engineering manager

People here in faang will tell you Sr. SEM should make 300-500k. Realistic non high tech companies may only pay 150-200k depending on the location.

Bonus is probably 15%; usually over paid. I’d guess base is 130-160k.

My understanding it should be $130-210 base then ~15% bonus. Atlanta area, other locations can vary significantly on both ends, also if you are a people leader or not can adjust the total.
