I have two outstanding offers from Expedia and NetApp. Which one should I prefer?. One is service based and one is Product based. Hired as SDE-II for Expedia and MTS II at NetApp. TC - Expedia Base 145k, sign on 30k, Stock 40000/4, Relocation to Seattle ( 12 k) TC - Netapp base 138k, Sign on 10k, Stock 75000/3, No relocation needed. Current TC - 138k YOE - 2 #expedia #netapp
I dont know anything about netapp, but also note, Expe has annual performance (not guaranteed) RSU awards, though they would be relatively low assuming that role is level K....
I am on level L.
levels.fyi is inaccurate, SDE II is actually K-level. For reference, I got $21k in refreshers this year as a K. Seems to be pretty standard.
Expe bumped every level up last year so sde II is actually sde I in general understanding
Really? I got an offer for SDE2 so does that mean it’s basically an SDE1 offer?
SDE1 in Expedia is SDE 2 in Amazon
Hand down, go for expedia!!
Don’t join NetApp if it is cloud bu. I joined a year ago and mgmt sucks
I think I know you
Who am I? :)
NetApp work life sucks man! Don’t join here
this guys MTS2 TC is my MTS4 TC at NetApp…
How’s that even possible?
What is the top of the band for MTS-4 at netapp???
Expedia would be better.. NetApp gives layoff stress periodically and the revenue is flat line since last 10 years.
