I interviewed for a senior product manager role with Expedia. The process took 5 months - the recruiters kept changing, and the new guy would always "forget" to email me. Finally I finished all the rounds and was told by the recruiter that Expedia is moving towards an offer. He said he'll call me back with the numbers but the TC would be over 200K. I was pretty excited as I've always wanted to work in the travel industry. After another month of emails the recruiter comes back saying the role has been put on hold. They are no longer giving me an offer. So basically this company interviewed people for over 6 months, and then decided - hey! maybe we don't need someone. This is so frustrating - I feel I could have spent this time interviewing with some other, better, company. Just wanted to post this to let you guys know what a POS Expedia is. What was the interview like?
The fact that it took more than a month should have been a clue
I’ve currently been in the interview process with Expedia and square for over a month 😬 waiting to get on-sites scheduled for both…
