Extended warranty on Honda
The new vehicle limited warranty provides coverage for 3 years and 36k miles. The extended warranty covers the same things but for 5 years or 100k miles. It is priced at about $3k. Is it worth it? Has anyone actually used if?
The best way to do it is to buy the Honda Care warranty from another dealer after you make the purchase. Mine cost $1200 for an 8 year 120k warranty on a 30k car. ($100 deductible) The dealers usually sell third party warranties that are a terrible deal so you have to shop around to find someone who will sell a direct Honda warranty close to cost. That price can be negotiated as with all things related to cars. If you want extended warranty, try to buy it for half the price.
