I have a call next week with HR to discuss E4 electrical engineering offer at AMAT (Santa Clara). 1) What is the TC that I can expect/negotiate? 2) With unlimited PTO at AMAT, how many weeks off is typically considered standard? I thought unlimited pto meant 0 pto

Do you know the range?
Look at E4 job posts on LinkedIn; they should all have salary ranges posted
Unlimited PTO depends on your manager. Some managers are very chill and for some it essentially means no PTO
There's no unlimited PTO; that's total BS. It's flexible time off and can be a nightmare to get if your manager is a jerk. And they do track the amount you take even when HR says they're not supposed to. Most people seem to take a fraction of the time off compared to when we had PTO accrual.
Unlimited PTO is the biggest BS ever
OP, can you share what $$$ did you end up with??
FTO isn't unlimited pto. Managers do say no and enforce their own caps

Do people underestimate E6 role at meta?
AMAT if it's similar to LAM research ... Will pay sh*t ... Not worth it
It is similar to LAM, but looking to change is hike is ~20% or more. I have a toxic manager now & can’t withstand!
