FB onsite
I have FB onsite in two weeks. People who gave it recently - could you guys please post your experience? please PM me if you dont want to post it here. currently L5 SDE at Amazon in the retail org, targetting E4 at FB TC: 200k Tenure at Amazon - 4 years
My FB recruiter was extremely helpful answering any questions I had about the on site, consider using yours as a resource.
Mostly medium questions. No DP asked. Make sure you lead every discussion. System design is extremely important. Talk about every option and trade off associated. There is no right answer but there are definitely clearly wrong answers. It’s important to mention what feels wrong and more importantly why.
I thought FB has a hiring freeze for L4. Is this for a SWE position?

How are you preparing for system design? Did you ask recruiter what level are you interested for?
Mostly Grokking for system design. Yes I asked about the level. They are targeting me for E5
Grokking for system design isn’t enough for an E5 position. For E4, yea it’s sufficient
What job family, org, title?
