I applied for full-time PhD researcher position in FB website, then the recruiter reached out to me and suggested an interview for PhD intern position. Is this a frequent situation? I'm planning to graduate in Feb 2020, and also I can start work in Feb 2020. This means that I will finish my degree before/during my internship. How is the chance of getting a return offer from FB research intern? (I know it depends on my performance, but statistics might help me making the decision.) Also, my wife is currently pregnant, so I wonder if FB supports family insurance to their interns. TC: 0, Phd student :(
Yeah fb provides insurance for interns
Thanks for your answer :) I really wanted to know it!
You dont get eyes & dental tho
Your TC is not 0 if you’re a PHD student, you have a stipend
Well around 20-30K 😂
Hi, I am in the exact same situation. I hope you are still around to tell me how it went for you. I applied for the full time position but ended up getting a research internship postion instead. I want to get a return offer, but I hear that return offer for research interns are not common. How did it turn out for you?
