Why are they so eager to close the case so soon? Trump said end of the week. Wednesday is not end of the week. It seems the political pressure to get a vote is interfering with the investigation. This is an implicit, indirect obstruction of justice the way I see it. You can throw your law textbook at me, but that’s how I feel. If these rumors are true that there are potential useful information, why wouldn’t a professional investigators interview those witnesses? Can we seriously trust this report? We are so divided between witch hunt and lying. Even though I don’t expect this report to resolve any doubts, but the report should at least settle some disputes around whether Kavanagh should be confirmed. I think this report will help no one. It is just a waste of time.

“You can throw your law textbook at me, but that’s how I feel.” The law doesn’t care how you feel. There is no obstruction of justice because there is no criminal investigation. This is the FBI helping congressmen by collecting data, that’s it. This is limited to one week because the republicans need to put someone on the court before the new senate goes into session with possibly a dem majority. If Kavanaugh doesn’t pass they will need to substitute someone, likely a woman, and that will take more time.

The fact that your timeframe justification is the longest part of this comment tells me that you should suit up in your best PM attire, kick back, and let those meeting hours fly by.
Understand that the real question here is of the person meets a bar of high moral character. Thus far, the answer is no. This position requires one to be above reproach. It would be in everyone's best interest to just have the nomination withdrawn and to stop wasting time and resources on a failed nominee.
That is my hope. If I were in his position, I’d withdrawn. This is in his forever legacy.
If Brett is proven of guilty, he can be taken down. But he is innocent until proven otherwise, simple as that. No conservative can prevent baseless accusation from intolerant left.
Trump has authorized an investigation only with people he approves. Let’s see how long before this stinks up the joint.
The FBI has looked into Kavanaugh 7 Times now. They also looked into this matter after Feinstein referred it to them. In all that they found...wait for it... nothing Why should they waste even more tax payer money chasing more people coming forward with “information” I.e. unprovable claims that are likely politically motivated?
