F&G Annuity options
One of the insurance agents approached me with retirement investments option. He advised me to invest $1000 per month in Fidelity and Guaranty annuity plan. Does anyone know whether it is a good option for retirement savings? #finance #retirement #investments

He is a crook. It’s 8% for one year and then resets based on current interest rates. It’s called “phantom yield” “teaser rate” “smoke and mirrors”, fyi I was a former director for a fortune 200 insurance company that sold a lot of annuities

His commission on that product could be 7% as well. Good for him not for you
Terrible idea, you should be investing into the market at these levels, not fixed annuities, that advisor should be fired.
