Software engineering is a dying profession. And since GPT is already great at writing its own prompts, you're up the creek without a paddle. Better save all your cash and RSUs for the next crypto bullrun and retire.
There is no crypto bullrun
Nice bait
Golden age just began
You people are so tiring
The crazy thing, this OP is not even wrong.
How? Chat GPT and likewise services can't do everything for you. They likely won't for security reasons. They are also often wrong or outdated. They still use old AWS services that have been decomissioned a long time ago. They can't do well when looking at production applications. They give fake sources, quotes, and articles on essays for people in school. Do you really think it will be able to replace software developers?
Every smart person on Earth is trying to build a human brain emulator. Why do you think it's so unachievable?
🤓
At the International Congress of Mathematicians held in Bologna, Italy, in 1928 mathematician and physicist David Hilbert returned to the second of the twenty-three problems posed in his 1900 paper Mathematische Probleme, asking “is mathematics complete, is it consistent, and is it decidable?” Indeed, in 1928, Mathematics was complete, and no significant advances have been made since that time. We reached the ceiling then, and there have been no new challenges or real growth since then. The Golden Age ended.
Are you implying he was wrong or something?
POV: you are a college freshman that just learned about Gödel
Not really. Just that we can hire from overseas for good talents and use AI to supplement talents and no need to pay for expensive engineers in US
I think gpt would first replace overseas talents, not domestic ones
Yeah overseas kinda garbage
