Facebook Account Deactivated
Yo Facebook/Meta Guys, There is no way of me contacting a live person to get my account reactivated and none of your fancy support technology is working to get it appealed. Can someone please for the love of God help me get this stupid account back from like 2012 or at least find the real reason why it was deactivated permanently. I want my old pictures and stuff back, Can someone pls help with this? Update: My attorney is sending a demand letter to Meta for them to take action. My personal data is in that account and I need to know the status. Like why the f*ck does some company have more access to my data than I do f*ck Meta. #facebook #meta #support #account

Whatever is on the other side of those instructions is garbage. I lost my insta and all those photos to the shitty bot detection and your "support" is a Kafkaesque nightmare that involved 30+ ridiculous emails and selfies with shit written on paper.

If your goal is just to take your photos and then abandon, it’s probably meta AI detected your intent and banned you - AI tagged you with a traitor flag. Just kidding
I have a friend who’s account was hacked recently. The hacker changed her name and put up a bunch of photos of some random Asian chick. My friend has been locked out of her account and she said she hasn’t been able to get in touch with a single live person at Facebook for help. It’s kinda crazy to me that Facebook can’t easily handle situations like this. It should be pretty simple to verify the account and get it restored. For now she’s had to resort to making a new account. I assume the hacker will be trying to catfish random people? Not sure what the strategy is with what they did.
Having live people to help 3b uses is not possible. We try but mostly suck at providing good resolutions.
Your friend can reset their password via email. If the hacker changed the email then your friend will have an email from fb with a link to undo the change. Now if your friends email was also hacked you'll need to have her fb friends report the profile is hacked.
Nope, employees can't escalate help requests for anyone they don't know personally and can get into serious trouble for trying to help strangers. (and Meta has a social graph, so they definitely know whether the employee and helpee know each other) Nobody's going to violate a strict policy and risk their job to try to help someone who's probably trying to hijack someone else's account. (no offense to you, OP, but it's statistically likely that a stranger asking for help with an account is malicious)
Bro my ID matches all the pictures in the account. I'll video call if I have to there are simple ways to solve this but the issue is that I don't know how to contact support for them to help me. I'm not even asking for any kind of special help I just don't know where to find a way to escalate this sh*t and talk to a real person The guidelines don't work they are literally broken they won't let me move forward after I sent my ID
