Got a verbal E5 offer from FB. Base: 190k RSU: 800k / 4 years Sign on: 80k Bonus: 15% Annual Refresh: 120k Is it a good offer? YOE: PhD + 6 years

Don't ask for E6. It's harder to get that as opposed to more stocks. Why waste your firepower? If you can get that kind of offer as E5 it's dream come true :-) easy start at the company, E6 range money, once you see the E6 role decide if you want that promo.

Actually if Apple matches this offer, should I stay? I feel FB leveled me a bit lower, but the TC increase is not that much (~20%).
You got a jackpot man. Super high offer, super low stock price that will soar after the media BS calms down and the lower level to have less responsibilities, get higher ratings and promote further.
If you like your job at Apple, just stay -- it's more stable, ML is more impactful, respectful org in the company

That's a great offer. For reference, most E6 at the company don't have 800k in unvested RSUs. That initial grant is getting in to E6 range.
