Hi fellow blinders - I completed interviews with bunch of companies. Some are still going on but not interested in them. I got following offers. Cruise Automation (interview was for senior software engineer but got the lower band for staff engineer ) Tc 623k - 230k base, 98 bonus, 295k/year equity FB - E5 (went to HC discussion for E6 but got an offer for E5) Tc - waiting on it. However, it should match the cruise one. VMware (staff 1) TC 530k - 239k base, 43k bonus (18%), 60k/year multi year sign on for 4 years, 188k/year stock Qh: Any pointers for negotiations with FB and cruise? What would you recommend for joining considering comp and no comp side ? These all numbers are without me specifying anything (so there is a room for me pitching in), however, every recruiter almost insisted on the part that - these are potentially higher numbers and it would be bad to do frequent back and forth. Any tips on asking for sign on with FB and cruise ? Current TC :239k - 160k base, bonus 46k, stock ~23k/year , ~10K milestone bonus Yoe - 9years
Max E5 offer without going out of band is 214/700/100. So lot less than cruise.

FYI. You are not calculating TC correctly. It’s what your annual comp is. So for the first job you listed it would be roughly $390k per year. As long as your bonus is annual. You also need to annualized the equity.
All these are total comp; I was told these are guaranteed numbers except stock portion fluctuations
When people on blind list their total comp they annualize it like I described My stock fluctuates also. I look at salary, expected bonus, and what stock will invest in the next year and sum it all. That is my total comp.

295 RSU for 4 years, lol. When I see VMware pays 530k I am pretty sure op put all RSU into first year...
How was your interview prep for FB? I have on sites with both coming up
The interview was fairly simple; I prepared nothing else but LC's last 1 yr FB questions. LC has a note tab that was very handy during revision. I have been playing with DS system designs for many years out of interest. But, grokking’s updated course is a good resource.
How many fb tagged lc did you do? Last yr fb lagged is almost 400
Are these real numbers for RSUs/yr?
Recalculate your yearly TC OP , don't be lazy like chuck. There seems to be some major discrepancy on per year RSU .
