Have these two offers that i am trying to decide between, so feedback appreciated. Facebook: Interviews went well, did not do good in one design interview due to which they put me in a E5 slot. Apple: Good fit for the team and role in AMP group. They slotted me at ICT5 but beginning of band. scope and impact looks good. How is the scope and impact for ICT5 at Apple? i am assuming refreshers will be similar in both places. I prefer to be at a place longterm and not worried about PIP. YOE: 12+, currently working at Amazon. Apple TC: Base 225K + RSU 560K (4 years) + 15% target bonus (~35K) + 50K joining bonus Facebook TC: Base 200K + RSU 660K (4 years) + 15% target bonus (~30K) + 100K joining bonus
How was the interview process at Apple? Specifically AMP if u can share
With Apple, every team has a different process even with the same org. My interviews were 2 design, 2 coding and 2 behavioral/cultural.
What is your fb base and stocks?

Can you share TC breakdowns? Thanks

I have seen 400K ICT4 offers from Apple. For ICT5 they can surely go higer. FB is maxed out at E5.
I have seen a little higher got e5
What is the max E5 offer?
what was the breakdown of interviews?
Apple offer looks less
Thanks, what would you aim for?
You can go higher for ICT5 with AMP (great team btw)
AMP is good, they’ll for sure give you 10k extra if not more. Gives you a lot of room to grow.
What's the interview split for virtual onsite? I have my onsite next week and recruiter hasn't provided any information on what each round will be based on.
It was the same with me, I did not get a clear picture on what the focus for the virtual onsite was before hand. Consider asking your recruiter on the focus areas for the interviews.

Doesn’t Apple PIP people too? I thought it was like FB but better than Amazon.
Sure every company does, the rate at which some companies do will be different. Like I mentioned, I am not too worried about a PIP culture.
Rarely. Not at all like fb.
