How does EE compare with product roles? Is the compensation, levelling still the same? How are the team change opportunities later ?

FB reached out to me for Product Engineer role. What kind of comp would that be with someone with 20 years of experience?
The compensation is the same for SWE role, but the โEnterprise Engineerโ role comes with lower comp. It is roughly one level down from the equivalent SWE role.
I guess software engineer for enterprise engineering. Is that the same? Thank you
Enterprise Engineering is just another org in the company like Ads, Messenger, IG, etc. As long as itโs the same role, the compensation is the same. We donโt change compensation based on the org. However, there is a role โEnterprise Engineerโ that is specific to that particular org. I guess the same way you would only find Product Marketing Managers (PMM) in Ads.
