Facebook Hardware Operations Compensation
Have an opportunity for Facebook hardware operations. Currently working in Apple operations TPM team. yoe~5. compensation details: E5, base 185k, RSU 375k over 4 years, sign on 50k. Is it a reasonable offer for hardware/operations team?
Did you try negotiating with them? What’s your current base? Unv RSU?
This is after negotiation. Original offer was 173k base + 240k RSU and no sign on. My current base is ~170k, unvested RSU 270k
To be honest understand you have 170K in your RSU bucket with potentially another 100K by Oct- but the 375K is very good for you situation. It propels your total TC by quite a bit.
How did you negotiate numbers? Any competing offer?
Is your total yoe 5 years ? Or, is that your experience as TPM?

Pretty good post negotiation numbers, especially considering your rsu will be value will be based on average of month you join, so will likely bump that number up much higher once we recover

Not sure how to calculate compensation since only worked 2 years in Apple...but RSU accumulated and unvested in Apple is close to the offered number. Current is ~170k.
