Facebook Hiring Freeze
Just got contacted by my recruiter that Facebook is freezing all mid level (E4) hiring across US and cancelled my onsite interview. Anyone else got the same news?

Anyone knows the reason? Werenāt they planning to hire a lot of people this year pre-covid? Might this also affect E5+ hiring soon? Or on the contrary since they need to fill the quotas they will double down on senior roles?
The more junior quotas were already filled in most locations. Dont worry about e5+

I don't know. My joining date is 2 months from now, so don't' know what will happen till then. YoE: 5
Have a phone interview next week for E4.... this would really suck for anyone in the pipeline
I would assume this would only apply to people with less than 5 yoe
Not yet, I'm currently interviewing with on-sites 4 weeks away. Don't wanna lose my chance at FB. I'm probably E5 but wondering if I'm considered E4 as well.
