I’m currently an L7 PM at AWS, and my recruiter told me I’m getting an offer from FB next week at L6 (which I think is approximately equivalent). I’m targeting a total comp of 450k at FB, plus sign-on (80k) and relo (10-15k). Is that reasonable? How does FB view negotiation? Thanks! #pm #product #productmanager #negotiation #salarynegotiation #salary
What’s your current TC? 450 TC should be doable for IC6 PM. 200-210 base 20% bonus 600-800 RSU. Competing offers would be required for higher end of the range.
Any tips that helped u exhibit the seniority in your interview answers?
What was your timeline from interview day to confirmation of recruiter of upcoming offer?
Do-able. I got ic6 offer
What was your offer?
You should have gone for L7. L6 would be down level
No it’s not. Amazon PM L7 = FB PM L5/L6
I think he meant down level from a role/responsibility perspective, which I would agree.
That’s a standard offer for L6. I’ve declined mine a couple of years ago, perhaps was a dumb decision, as it was too low compared to my TC at Amazon.
What was the offer OP?
What's your YoE ?
Congrats OP, how many years did you work for amazon? And why did you decide moving?
You should have gone for L7. L6 would be down level
You should look at ex Amazon folks who joined FB and look at their levels. I know couple and both joined at L7.
