I accepted Research Data Scientist position at Facebook (Infrastructure org). Please suggest me any tips to be successful in the role. It would be great if you can share the following details: 1. Work load (WLB) 2. Technical stack (Python Sklearn, SQL ??) 3. How does a typical day look for a Research Data Scientist Thanks TC: 330 K Level: E5 Location: MPK #data #dataanalytics #datascience
Congrats. Does your TC include the first year joining bonus?
Joking bonus is not included. I got a mere 10K as joining bonus đ
You can send me a message. I have been in that org for 5+ years
Hi, I am interviewing for the same role. Have some queries, can I ping you?
Just find a mentor when u get in. You might have to fight a bit harder for people's time since we are all remote
Thanks
Hi, I am interviewing for the same role. Can you help me with the interview process.
How did your interview went? I am interviewing for the same role. Can I dm you?
My interview is next week
Congrats for clearing the technical screen and All the best for your onsite. Which resources did you use for stats prep? I am using leetcode for coding and SQL.
Yeah, I used that and also checked glassdoor questions. But mostly joins and group by. For stats, I just brush about AB testing as it is something I do not do every day. Basically, read through trustworthy online controlled experiments book and then some online pages for specific tests formulas. Mainly, be sure you are able to understand the stats (in and out) behind regression models as it was 50% of the stats questions in my case.
Thank you so much
I am interviewing for the same role in January. Is anyone available for couple of mock interviews in Dec/Jan?
