Hi I have accepted contract position at Facebook data engineer role. The team is fairly new. So wondering to get tips to convert to a full time role. How is life as a contractor at Facebook? Any tips will be highly appreciated
how did you get the contractor position?
Contractor directly through allegis
Leave, you’ll get stuck there
What do you mean by stuck?
Just don’t expect it to be a gateway to full time
Yes you might be right!
Contractors need to interview again just like you would be external hire. No added advantage for being a contractor. That said, use this time to network and understand skill gaps and prepare. When the time you are in is hiring, prepare well and apply.
Hi, how was the interview experience. I have an interview coming up. It would very helpful if u could elaborate on the process. How many rounds And what topics to focus
