Just got a hit for a job I applied to at Facebook for an engineering role. Can any current Facebook employees tell me what the interview process is like? How many interviews are usually before an offer is made?
Ask the recruiter.. FB recruiters are super duper good.. why do you want to get info from others when you can get info directly from your recruiter..
I would like to know the process from my side of things. But yes, I will be asking the recruiter as well.
Last year I went. Phone, take home project, onsite, onsite , phone. No go :( that was for solution engineer.
Was every one of those steps a technical test?
First was the basic phone screen. For the onsite there was a few behavioral question. One person to go through the take home project. Two guys from the team you are working for asking about generic "attitude" behavioral question. One marketing/product guy. Two to three technical guys. The last was the hiring manager asking technical question and system design question. The last onsite and phone interview was by hiring manager again. I think the manager wasn't too sure and wanted to talk more and find out more and assess more of me. The manager was tight on time the previous onsite. I think was pretty close to an offer... but alas. This interview process is specific to solution engineer. For normal sw engineer no take home project.
Your recruiter should have detailed information for you.
