Around a week iirc
a week
One week
I got 2 weeks. There was a huge number of candidates, so they keep postponing. Talk to your recruiter if you are worried.
After a week, I called the recruiter but left a voice message, I also sent an email the same day. No response for both!..weird unprofessional.
General timeline: I interview somebody mid-day I enter feedback by EOD Some straggler on the loop enters the next day Debrief 2-4 days later So if you haven't heard back within 4-5 work days, that's not a signal one way or another.
Thank you for promptly entering feedback. You're certainly not the norm. Ha.
I wish everyone was like that. I try to do the same :)
I found out the same day. I flew in for the onsite interviews and my recruiter called that afternoon to let me know I got the job and they were working on a formal offer
That's super unique tho. Sometimes, if every interviewer on the loop is a solid hire, we email debrief, but a ton of candidates go to in person debrief and that takes time.
I flew back to the east coast and found out shortly after I landed, technically the next day I guess.
What is debrief - is it between interviewers and recruiter/HR?
Recruiters listen in but only speak to intro candidate (as in, "Next up is Jane Doe coming to us from 3 years at Netflix.") Only interviewers and hiring manager talk. Once we've made our decision, the recruiter either says, "ok" or "can you clarify ___" so they have a reason they can give the candidate and/or legal/HR.
Do candidates at Facebook interview for specific teams? I thought interviews were like Google where everyone is a generalist.
Just tell them you're waiting for some other offer. They'd speed up.
