Lol. From personal experience using internally - FB code has undocumented corner cases that reflect “move fast and break things”. Teams have wasted so many man hours on this. Google open source stuff much more trustworthy: just have to remember that Google tends to be more opinionated with design and use case should align with Googles (this is both a pro as well as a con).
Lol. Pick any open source project from fb. For almost all cases I can find equivalent or better stuff. React might be the only exception
They have to. They cannot acquire the competition any longer. They either innovate or die. Oculus are innovating for sure.
