I am joining Facebook while wifey works at Microsoft. I am looking at how we coordinate our medical insurance. We have two kids as well. We don't use doctors that often though and have the Microsoft HSA/Premera plan currently. So any guidance from those who are in similar situations? Do you make Facebook primary and Microsoft secondary? Other way round? Split between the two? Anything else that I may be missing?
Don't worry. As insurance companies they will figure out the best way to screw you over no matter what you do.
hahaha
I think the insurance in your own name is always considered primary relative to someone else's. Having more than one provider just sounds like a recipe for pain though. I'd probably default to not sharing insurance since you (probably) also save on premiums that way.

How is FB medical insurance vs. MS medical insurance?
fb had the standard copay based insurance - not your HSA crap.
