Facebook's Quant Research or Data Scientist - University Grad role

Anyone familiar with these teams willing to talk a bit more about the role? I'm a quant researcher with a top trading firm and also have a BS in CS from a top school. Considering these roles since there's a lot of overlap with my current skillset, but am wondering if they would consider non-advanced degrees.

If you are at a top 5 trading firm with a top undergrad, you should be able to land research scientist roles at tech firms. Most of these employees are foreign, and so PhD is a “requirement” in many cases simply because the international PhD students are much stronger than the terminal masters students in the same subject. If you can pass an interview at Citadel/Jane Street/DeShaw/HRT, you won’t have a hard time landing an engineering related quant role at a top tech company. What you should avoid is anything related to “product” or “analytics”. For instance, at Lyft you have research scientists and data scientists, you want to be a research scientist. Ditto at Facebook etc.
